I’ve started experimenting with my third wide-angle lens, some examples of which are posted below. Moment’s lenses are the most expensive I’ve tried so far — and worth every bit. My new 18mm is sharp compared to past experiments, without messy vignetting. It’s also secure, fitting into the Moment-brand case instead of a clip that’s prone to slip.

I’ve also started using Halide for its easy control over ISO and shutter speed. That’s a work in progress.

With this setup, I’ve discovered that strong lines get stronger; foreground/background become more dramatic; scale and composition are more sensitive to fine adjustment.
